Where does your and mine taxes go?
Well, to facilitate the travel of the CMD's "Family" of Air India and erstwhile Indian Airlines!!
Now what does "Family" mean for the purpose of unlimited FREE TICKETS.
The memorandum of an Indian Airlines meeting in January 1997 says that the definition of family for an employee includes -- "spouse, children, parents, brothers, sisters, dependent relatives and dependent in the household.". Thank god that it do not include mistress and call girls.
One CMD did not use this facility much. He just availed 171 FREE PASSAGE for his 'FAMILY' in an year. Another 163 times.
Now this Airline wants a bail out package of Rs 20,000 crore of our money from the Government!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
